ISLAMABAD March 14: The PML-Q leadership, which met here on Thursday, decided to announce its election manifesto for the October polls in April.

The party also endorsed all policies of Gen Pervez Musharraf. The decisions came at a meeting, chaired by Mian Mohammad Azhar.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting, Ghulam Sarwar Cheema and Azim Chaudhry said a ‘policy coordination committee’, has been constituted which will guide the party on electoral alliance with other parties.

The party also issued instructions to the provincial leadership to prepare lists of party candidates for provincial as well as National Assembly and also to organise themselves for the elections.

The meeting reviewed party leaders’ recent Sindh visit and also decided that Mian Azhar will pay a three-day visit to the Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat and Kohat, southern districts of the NWFP, from March 27 to 29.
