KARACHI, Sept 3: Promising Al Mitra of Mama Parsi School claimed a double crown when she won the girls’ U-15 and U-18 titles in the inaugural Dr Essa Mohammad Karachi ranking table tennis tournament at the PSB National Coaching Centre on Monday.

Her victim in both the finals was Abeera Ali who put up stiff resistance before bowing out.

The girls’ U-12 title went to Iqra Saeed who conceded a set on way to registering 11-8, 11-6, 6-11, 11-6 victory over Ayesha Liaquat.

Mustafa Jamali edged Salman Shahid in five sets to land the boys’ U-15 title. He won the battle 6-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-5, 11-9.
