SHAHDADPUR, Sept 3: A large number of people including elected representatives staged a rally on Monday in protest against prolonged power load-shedding in 13 union councils of the taluka for the past several days.

The participants marched on various roads of the city and reached local press club, where they chanted slogans against Hesco officials.

They said that persisting hot weather accompanied by load-shedding had claimed around a dozen lives so far but authorities concerned had still not realised their responsibility.

He warned the Hesco officials to end load-shedding.—PPI
