Senate body moot now on Sept 6

LAHORE, Aug 30: The Senate Standing Committee on Sports has deferred its meeting, called to discuss with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials certain issues, for one day – from Sept 5 to 6.

Chairman of the standing committee Rai Azizullah told Dawn that the meeting was deferred on the request of PCB Chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf, as the he would be in Singapore on Sept 5.

The senate committee had also summoned Director Cricket Operations Zakir Khan and chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed to take up the matter of the Indian Cricket League.
