Ranjha takes oath as law minister

ISLAMABAD, March 13: Dr Khalid Ranjha on Wednesday took oath as Federal Minister for Law and Justice Division here on Wednesday.

Acting President and Chief Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmed administered the oath to the new law minister at the Aiwan-i-Sadr.

Dr Ranjha was serving as Law Minister in the Provincial Cabinet of Punjab.

Shahida Jameel, the former law minister, has now been given the portfolios of environment, local government and urban affairs.

Federal Minister Owais Ghani, who was previously given the additional charge of these three ministries, will now have the portfolios of labour, manpower and overseas Pakistanis.
