HYDERABAD, March 13: Two persons, a teacher and a student of a private educational institution, were crushed under the wheels of a passenger bus near the Central Telegraph Office on the Fatima Jinnah road here on Wednesday.

Reports said that the student, Nisar Ahmed Mughairi son of Dur Mohammad, 24, and the teacher, Imtiaz Hussain Qambrani son of Ashiq Hussain, 30, were on their way to a photostat shop when a horse cart rammed into the motorcycle, hitting them very badly with the result that both of them fell on the main road.

The horse cart was not being driven by anyone that was why it went out of control resulting in stampede on the road. In the meantime a passenger bus No.JA-2462, coming from Pakistan chowk ran over them, causing instant death of one of the injured. The other was taken to civil hospital where he breathed his last.

The conductor of the bus, Din Mohammad, has been arrested by the police.
