NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 23: Over 300 students and teachers of high school Ghulam Mohammad Panhwar took out a rally on tractor-trolleys and motorcycles to SDO Hesco office, Tharushah and demanding restoration of electricity to their school on Thursday.

They were led by the school headmaster, Anwar Ali Panhwar.

The students burnt tyres and blocked Tharushah-Naushahro Feroze link road for about one hour.

They complained that the Hesco officials had disconnected their school’s electricity 10 days prior to vacations. The headmaster said that he along with some school teachers approached the SDO Hesco Tharushah for talks for restoration of power.

They also met executive engineer Hesco Naushahro Feroze who issued a letter to SDO Hesco directing to restore electricity of the school but the power was not restored yet.
