KARACHI, Aug 21: Osama Arif slammed an unbeaten century as Zone-I Whites outplayed Zone-II Blues by 82 runs in a KCCA Inter-zonal Under-15 Cricket Championship match at the Student Ground on Monday.

Osama struck ten boundaries in his 102 not out as Zone-I Whites, batting first, posted 232-7 in their 50 overs. Zone-II Blues, in reply, were bowled out for 150 in the 44th over. Zarnab Intizar made 37.

Meanwhile, Zone-IV Blues crushed Zone-V Blues by 165 runs with half-centuries from winning team’s Ibrahim Ali and Waqas Ali.

Batting first, Zone-IV Blues piled up 245-8 in the allotted 50 overs. Zone-V Blues, in response, crashed to 80 all out in the 27th over with the total carrying 31 extras. Atiq-ur-Rehman claimed three wickets for six runs.

In another match played at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Zone-VII Blues defeated District Lasbela by ten runs. Off-spinner Osama Anwar captured 4-45 for the winners.
