KARACHI, Aug 17: The National Clay Court Tennis Championship will take place at Islamabad from Nov 26 to Dec 2 under the aegis of NGO Subh-i-Nau, its chairperson Shahida Farooq said on Friday.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has accorded necessary permission in this regard.

Meanwhile, Mrs Farooq who is also council member of the PTF, has commended Nida Waseem, who was conferred the President’s Pride of Performance on the Independence Day.

“The award has opened new avenues for upcoming tennis players besides giving a boost to the game,” she said.
