NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 17: Residents of village Arbab Rajpar staged a demonstration outside the press club against the Padidan police here on Thursday for refusing to register a kidnapping case.

They were led by Mohammad Ashraf, Ghulam Ali, Mohammad Ramzan and Nawaz Ali Rajpar.

They claimed that their relative Arbab Rajpar, serving in Pakistan Army, was going to Quetta on August 12, to join his duty after a few days leave when some armed men kidnapped him.

They said that after looting his cash and documents the armed men threw Arbab near Mungia Mori on Wednesday night.

They complained that Padidan police were not registering the FIR.

Meanwhile, residents of village Dost Mohammad Chandio staged a demonstration in Tharushah on Thursday.

They said that some unidentified armed men broke into the house of Sajan Chandio on Wednesday night and looted cash, gold jewellery and other valuables, but SHO Tharushah police was not registering an FIR.
