KARACHI, March 12: Members of the Hindu community celebrated their annual festival of Maha Shivratri on Tuesday to mark the wedding anniversary of Lord Shiva to Mata Parvati.

The community members flocked to the city temples in general and at Shree Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple at Clifton in particular where central celebrations are held every year.

The devotees kept on coming in small numbers throughout the day. Langer — free food — was also distributed among the devotees.
