LARKANA, Aug 13: A man was released from illegal confinement in the Qambar police station lock up by the raid commissioner who was appointed by in-charge Session Judge Qambar-Shahdadkot here on Monday.

Khadim Hussain Chandio, a resident of Burira Colony approached the court with the request that the SHO Qambar police station broke into his house on August 11 and arrested his brother Fida Hussain Chandio and kept him in wrongful confinement.

The in-charge session judge Khalid Mehmood Bhatti appointed Liaquat Sangi as raid commissioner with the instructions to locate the detainee.

The court official raided the police station and found Fida Hussain Chandio in the police lock-up. He released the detainee and ordered the SHO, ASI and the duty officer to appear in the court on August 15 along with papers.
