HYDERABAD, Aug 13: A meeting of People’s Party Parliamentarians MPAs at the residence of MPA Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi here on Sunday discussed preparation of a regional manifesto of the party.

Around 25 PPP MPAs gave their input in the meeting which was presided over by the leader of opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro.

The MPAs spoke about different issues concerning Sindh province and their constituencies so that they could be reflected in the manifesto.

Later, Mr Khuhro told journalists that the manifesto would reflect different issues of the constituencies. He rejected reports that the meeting had discussed Pervez Musharraf-Benazir Bhutto meeting in Abu Dhabi for a possible power sharing deal.

Party sources said that the MPAs were told to have interaction with their electorates in the wake of the Abu Dhabi meeting and informed them that the PPP would not share power with a military dictator as it stood for democratic struggle and restoration of democracy.

According to MPA Zahid Bhurgari, the meeting also discussed issues of the National Finance Commission , provincial autonomy, health, agriculture, water, lawlessness, joblessness and regularisation of villages.
