NAWABSHAH, Aug 12: Passengers onboard the Tezgam Express and the Allama Iqbal Express were panicked when they came to know about bomb disposal squad personnel and railway police searching the two trains for a bomb or suspected luggage at the Nawabshah railway station early on Sunday morning.

DPO Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Jamali told Dawn that the personnel of police and bomb disposal squad were sent to check the railway station after the department received information that a bomb had been planted on the trains.

The trains were allowed to resume journey to upcountry after getting clearance from the squad that no suspected luggage had been found on the trains.
