PESHAWAR, Aug 10: A man was killed and four others were injured when a gas cylinder blew up at the Baghbanan bus stop in Chamkani police area on Friday. The deceased was identified as Feroz, son of Sharif, a resident of Telaband village. The names of the injured could not be ascertained.

According to reports, Feroz was sitting on rooftop of a mini-bus bearing registration number PRC-9473, heading from Kamboh Adda to Zenday Camp.

He was carrying two gas cylinders among which one exploded with a big bang causing the death of Feroz on the spot.

The blast was so powerful that it damaged rooftop of the bus and made a big hole in it.—Bureau
