On Monday, she made an attempt to commit suicide and received 70 per cent burn injuries. Later, she was removed to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) where her condition is stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian was run over by a speeding car in Golra on Sunday night, police said.

Mir Ghulam was going along side the road when a car (B-3296) hit him resulting into his death. Police have registered a case against the driver.
