RAWALPINDI, Aug 8: The first batch of lady officers which joined Pakistan Army Wednesday met Chief of General Staff, Lt-Gen Sallahuddin here at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

Gen Sallahuddin urged the lady officers to give their best performance while serving in their respective departments and prove their mettle as useful members of army, said an ISPR press release.

He advised the newly-inducted lady officers to serve with full professional commitment so as to live upto the lofty traditions of the army.

“You are pioneers and have to set a trend so that others should also come forward to join the armed forces”, Gen Sallahuddin said.

Senior military officers were also present during the meeting.
