KARACHI, Aug 4: Slow left-arm spinner Afaq Ahmed took four wickets as Landhi Friends outgunned Landhi Gymkhana by 74 runs to qualify for the quarter-finals of the fifth Pak-China Gold Cup Cricket Championship at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Friday.

Batting first, Landhi Friends reached 208 before being dismissed in 38.2 overs. Naeem Hyder and Sadiq Khan scored half-centuries as Nasrullah Khan captured four wickets for 30.

Landhi Gymkhana, in reply, were bowled out for 134 in 31.4 overs. Kamran top-scored with 35. Afaq finished with figures of 4-28 and was well supported by Saqib Khan and Tariq Murad who shared the other six wickets to fall.
