PESHAWAR, Aug 4: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Malik Gohar Rehman, a renowned political figure of the Galyat and former member of the NWFP Assembly who died on Friday night.

The chief minister said Gohar Rehman was a stalwart of the MMA. From 1979 he had been involved in political activities, Mr Durrani said, adding that Mr Rehman had a remarkable contribution in organising the MMA and the development of Haripur.—PPI
