PESHAWAR, Aug 4: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has launched a “special campaign” for issuance of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs).

The Swift Registration Centres of Nadra have been directed to assist the people in securing CNICs, said a press release here on Saturday.

The help of district nazims has been sought in making this campaign a success, added the handout. It appealed to the elected representatives to convince their electorate about obtaining the CNICs at the earliest.

People desirous of obtaining their identity cards should approach the registration centres so that they did not face any hardship in casting their votes in the upcoming elections.—APP
