KOHAT, July 29: Suspected militants on Sunday fired five rockets in Kohat from mountains near the Ghamkol refugee camp where a policeman was killed earlier by the firing of masked men.

Kohat District Police Officer Dr Vaqar told Dawn that five rockets fell into the fields near the camp causing explosions. But, he added, no loss of life or property was reported.

He said the tribal administration of the frontier region of Kohat was informed about the incident. The administration had sent a Khasadar party to the mountains from Darra Adam Khel to find clues about the militants, he added.
