MARDAN, July 29: Pukhtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party central information secretary Senator Raza Mohammad Raza has said that his party’s alliance with the Awami National Party is a great achievement. He has termed the alliance a milestone in the struggle of Pukhtuns for their rights.

Addressing party workers on the occasion of the ninth death anniversary of party leader Sher Ali Bacha here on Sunday, he said the alliance between the two parties was made in the largest interest of Pukhtun nation.

He said that the alliance would play a great role in unification and development of Pukhtuns.

Mr Raza said the Pakistan Oppressed Nation Movement and the All Parties Democratic Movement were struggling for the economic liberation and honour of Pukhtun nation. It was the duty of nationalist parties to reawaken political consciousness among Pukhtuns, he added.
