KHAIRPUR, July 29: A man was killed over a land dispute near village Noor Narejo taluka Gambat on Sunday morning.

Reports said that two men, armed with axe and stick attacked Ajeeb Narejo, 26, and killed him on the spot. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

Narejo’s body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem at taluka hospital Gambat.

The motive behind the murder was reportedly a dispute between two groups of Narejo community over a piece of agriculture land.

Bandits kill car driver

A car driver was killed while resisting a robbery bid near Nangreja late on Saturday night. His relatives staged a sit-in on Kunb-Nawabshah road at Jhango stop on Sunday morning.
