MUMBAI, July 28: The Indian squads for the seven-match ODI series against England and the Twenty20 World Championship in South Africa will be chosen on Aug 7, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Saturday.

The selectors will also name the captain for the championship as Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly have pulled out of the tournament.

Dravid however, will captain the side for the seven ODIs against England from Aug 21 to Sept 8.

The 15-member squad for the championship, to be held from Sept 11 to 24, will be chosen from the list of 30 probables which has already been announced. In Dravid's absence, there's a possibility of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the ODI vice-captain, leading the side.

Included among the probables are some of the players who missed out on selection for the Tests in England like Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan.—Agencies
