PESHAWAR, March 9: Two alleged kidnappers of a young woman were arrested in Chamkani, police officials said  here on Thursday.

Amina, the wife of Khan Shah, a resident of village Fato Abdur-Rahima, went missing on Wednesday morning. Her husband got an FIR registered with the Chamkani police station and alleged that his neighbours Awal Khan, son of Muzammal and Qayyum, son of Muqeem, had kidnapped his wife.

Acting on a tip-off the police arrested both the accused and recovered the woman in Hasan Ghari area.

Qayyum claimed that Khan Shah’s wife had gone with him at her own will and he was not involved in the kidnapping.—Bureau Report
