DERA GHAZI KHAN, July 26: Five unidentified armed men deprived four policemen manning a checkpoint near Taunsa Barrage of their official guns and a wireless set here on Thursday.

Reports said on early Thursday, five armed men barged into the police post set up at bridge 22 near Taunsa Barrage.

After overpowering the policemen, the outlaws tied them up with ropes, collected their weapons and a wireless set and fled away.

District police officer has suspended the four policemen and the area SHO Ziaul Haq from service.
