LAHORE, July 25: Three matches were decided on the opening day of the Lahore district inter-club basketball championship here on Wednesday. Don Bosco ‘A’ beat Falcons Club 65-10 after leading 35-6 at half-time with Waqas (24), Arsalan (18), Naveed (10) Asad (8) the main scorers.

Don Bosco ‘A’ (Urdu) carved out a 47-29 win over Brothers Club 47-29 after leading 29-18 lead at the break. For the winners Hasan (10), Hasnain (10), Yasir (12) were the major scorers.

Henry Francis Club fought hard to beat Don Bosco Old Boys 57-55 after taking a 24-22 lead at half-time. For the winners Imran (19), Ibrar (13), Ali (9) were chief scorers. For the losers Romeo (20), Moudood Jafri (14), Farhan (10) and Raheel (8) shone.
