Juniors not to play in India

KARACHI, July 25: Pakistan will not be featuring in this year’s World Junior snooker championship to be held in India next month. A Pakistan Billiards Snooker Association (PBSA) official said on Wednesday that no Pakistani cueist will be sent for the event. He did not give any reason for the decision.

The championship will be held in Goa from August 22-31. This will be a combined event for boys and girls and each country can field three boys and a girl.—PPI
