MULTAN, July 25: Six people, including three brothers, who had lost their lives in a factory boiler explosion in North Karachi on Tuesday, were laid to rest at Qutabpur in Shujabad tehsil on Wednesday.

A large number of people attended the funeral prayers of three brothers — Muhammad Rauf (16), Muhammad Farooq (18) and Muhammad Hanif (20), and two other bothers of the same village — Muhammad Bakhsh and Muhammad Ashraf and their relative Muhammad Saifal (16).

RALLY: Traders on Wednesday took out a rally against the Multan police for their failure to check dacoity incidents.

The rally, organized by the Markazi Anjuman Tajiran and the Tajir Ittehad at Gole Bagh, was led by Tariq Mehmood Malik, Arif Fasihullah, Sultan Mehmood Malik, Rao Iftikhar Ahmed, Sufi Abdul Rehman Bhatti and Riaz Shaheen.
