KARACHI, July 23: Shakir Lashari hammered in twice to help Karachi ‘A’ defeat Karachi ‘D’ 4-2 in the PFF Youth Cup soccer at CDGK Stadium on Monday. Karachi ‘A’ were left ruing a missed penalty kick by Abdul Wahab in the second minute of the game. They finally went 1-0 up with Shakir's seventh-minute strike and doubled the lead as he slammed home for his second in the 23rd minute.

Mohammad Hayat reduced the margin in the 35th minute for Karachi ‘D’ before Maqbool Ahmad made it 3-1 in the 75th minute, while Zubair Ahmad netted the fourth in the 81st minute.

Still trailing behind, the losers once again scored through Hayat four minutes later but failed to level the scores.
