Doctor shot dead in Sihala

RAWALPINDI, July 19: A man was shot dead by unidentified men in Sihala while another was murdered by his rivals in Tarnol, police said on Thursday. In the first incident, Mohammad Asif, a homoeopathic doctor, was heading home when two persons on a motorbike intercepted him near Karal Chowk and shot him dead.

In another incident, 25-year-old Nisar Ahmed was killed by his two rivals in Tarnol over a land dispute.

Police have registered separated cases and started necessary investigation.
