SARGODHA, July 16: Three children were buried under a mound of sand in a pit in Mubarey, 30 kilometres from Sargodha, on Monday.

Adeel, eight, Ali Nawaz, 10, and Muhammad Sibtain, 10, were playing with sand in the pit at about 3pm when the heap of sand fell over them. People dug the heap to find all of them dead.

The bodies were handed over to their parents. Police called the incident accidental deaths.

WIFE KILLED: Irshad Masih killed his wife Shamim in 104-NB, 25 kilometres from Sargodha, suspecting she had an affair with a man of the village.
