NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 16: Employees of Moro Technical Institute along with others staged demonstration and sit-in outside local press club here on Monday to protest against termination of their services.

Ali Sher Khoso, Murtaza Khoso, Bakhshal Khoso, Ghulam Asghar Dahraj, Israr Ahmed and others complained that despite working efficiently in the institute since 2002, their services were terminated and new faces had been appointed.

They also raised slogans against the termination of their service. They said they possessed appointment letters and other service record but the district government removed them from the service and appointed new persons.

They demanded immediate restoration of their services and warned to widen their protest and knock the door of competent court in case their services were not restored.

Principal Moro Technical Institute could not be contacted for comments.

Demo: Residents of Haroonabad village and Lakha Road took out a rally and demonstrated against Hesco on Monday after two people got injured as electric wires fell on them. Protesters were led by Advocate Abdul Raheem Lakho.
