BARNSLEY (England), July 14: Armenia's Leva Kirakoysan defended his European super-featherweight title with a fourth-round stoppage of Britain's Carl Johanesson here on Friday.

Johanesson hit the canvas three times before eventually succumbing to a heavy right uppercut after one minute and 50 seconds of the fourth round which knocked him out so heavily the referee stopped the contest without the need for a count.—AFP
