New temple found locked

SIALKOT, July 14: Some unidentified men locked the newly established Jaggan Nath Temple situated at Paris Road here on Saturday. They also removed the nameplate of minorities MPA Joseph Hakim Din from the wall of the temple.

Later talking to newsmen, Jaggan Nath Temple President Heera Lal, Senior Vice President Sham Lal and Vice President Anand Lal expressed their grave concern over the act and demanded an immediate probe.

The temple had been constructed a few months ago with a special grant of Rs200,000 provided by Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
