HYDERABAD, July 13: The Niaz Stadium will be handed over to the Pakistan Cricket Board by the Hyderabad District Government on Tuesday. The district government signed an agreement with the Qasimabad Taluka Municipal Administration (TMA) on Friday for the transfer. According to the agreement, income generated from the stadium will be given to the TMA.
The district government has also identified land for construction of a five-star hotel – a prerequisite of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for any city where an ODI or a Test match is to be organised.
