12 Pakistanis held in Ukraine

LVIV (Ukraine), July 7: Ukrainian authorities on Saturday arrested 12 Pakistani and five Somali illegal immigrants in two raids near the country’s western frontier. Ten Pakistanis were arrested on Friday in a joint operation of police and border guards in a private house in Turyi Remety near the Ukraine’s border with Slovakia, border guards said.

The two other Pakistanis and five Somalis were detained in Khust near the Ukrainian-Romanian border on Friday.—AFP
