Wajid, Ayesha to defend titles

LAHORE, July 6: National champions Wajid Ali and Ayesha Akram will defend their title in the 10th Amir Abdullah Khan Rokhari ranking badminton tournament to be held at New Khan courts from July 30 to Aug 5.

While Wajid and Ayesha will be defending their titles in men's and women's events, Wapda will go to defend the title in team's event.

All affiliated units of Pakistan Badminton Federation, including four provinces, Islamabad, FATA, AJK, KPT, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, NBP, HEC, PMAD, New Khan besides Wapda will participate in the tournament.

The other events to be contested are men's doubles and mixed doubles.

The last date for entry is July 27.

A total of Rs 120,000 will be distributed a cash prizes.
