MIRAMSHAH, July 4: Five music shops were burnt in Miramshah Bazaar on Tuesday night while unidentified men kidnapped a manager of a bank from Bannu Frontier Region adjacent to the North Waziristan Agency on Tuesday.

Local people said that unidentified men sprinkled petrol over the shops at the main bazaar and set them on fire. All shops were gutted.

Militants had warned cassettes and CD shop owners in the restive agency to wind up their businesses or face consequences.
