BUREWALA, July 3: Two persons were killed and another was injured when a train hit a tractor-trolley at an unmanned level crossing near here early on Tuesday.
The accident occurred near Laat Bhattian when the Samasatta-bound 120-Down smashed into the trolley, dislodging it from the tractor. The driver remained safe but two of the three labourers on the trolley were killed on the spot. The three were relatives who resided at Chak 517-EB.
The deceased were identified as Asif Sheikh and Khizar Hayat, while the injured Irshad Sheikh was referred to Nishter Hospital Multan due to his serious condition.—APP
