PESHAWAR, July 3: Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said on Tuesday that he had always taken politics as a means of serving the people.

Speaking to elders of the Saadat family, who joined the Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao), the minister said everybody was aware of the services rendered by Sardarkhel Saadat.

He added that with Saadat family’s joining it, the political base of the PPP-S in the city would broaden.

Col (retd) Saadat Hussain, Dr Nelofer Asghar, Col (retd) Najam Hussain, Ms Farooq Haider, Dr Adil Hussain, Mumtaz Ali Qizalbash, Sarkar Abbas advocate, Anees, Sadat Ali advocate, Mohammad Sakhi, Syed Pervez Akhunzada and Agha Murad have joined the PPP-S.
