HARIPUR, June 30: A woman was killed and two others were injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Phahee Ghazi village on Friday evening. The Ghazi police said that the three women were at their single-room katcha house when its roof caved in, killing Resham Jan, 70.
The injured women -- Qooban-un-Nisa and Barfi Jan -- were admitted to the Ghazi Tehsil headquarters hospital.
BUS LOOTED: Five highwaymen deprived the passengers of a bus of cash and valuables near Panian, some five kilometres from here on Saturday morning.
Police confirmed the incident.
The bandits escaped after collecting mobile sets, cash and ornaments. They also snatched Rs2,300 from the driver.
