HYDERABAD, June 29: Sindh Revenue Minister Dr Irfan Gul Magsi has joined the Pakistan Muslim League with his friends and supporters and advised other elected representatives and opinion leaders of Tando Allahyar district to do the same.

Mr Magsi, who was elected as an independent MPA and later joined the PML-F, announced his new decision in the presence of Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim at the district nazim secretariat in Tando Allahyar on Friday.

The Sindh chief minister, who is also the provincial president of the PML, arrived in Tando Allahyar on a short visit to review the arrangements for a PML public meeting in the town on July 5.

Mr Magsi lauded the efforts of the chief minister for development of Tando Allahyar and said that further development of the district would continue and it would strengthen the PML.

Taluka Nazim of Jhando Mari Mir Ghulam Muhammad alias Mir Pappu and local agriculturist Zulfiqar Yousfani also announced to join the PML along with their friends, relatives and supporters.

They were of the view that more people of the district would also join the PML in the near future.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Arbab said that Pakistan Muslim League was getting more strength and was in a position to sweep the forthcoming general elections in Sindh as well as in other provinces.

About the rain losses, he said that he himself was reviewing and getting reports about rain losses from the concerned authorities and assured to provide relief all rain victims. He said that all the concerned departments and organisations have been directed to take precautionary measures so that losses of rain/flood could be minimised.
