MMA’s second phase of caravan

LAHORE, June 28: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal’s Punjab President Liaquat Baloch on Thursday announced the schedule for the MMA’s second (two-day) phase of the caravan for democracy starting on July 2.

In a press release, Mr Baloch said the caravan would leave from Sahiwal on July 2 and reach Multan the same day where MMA leaders Qazi Husain Ahmad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and others would address a public meeting at Husain Agahi Chowk.

The caravan would leave Multan the next day and at Muzaffargarh another public meeting would be held at Fayyaz Park. In the next stage, the third public meeting would be held in Dera Ghazi Khan in the afternoon. The last of the public meetings in the phase would be held in Layyah city after 10:30pm.
