KARACHI, June 27: Shahroze Khan and Kashif Khan stormed into the KC Sindh senior ranking squash championship final inflicting straight defeats on their respective opponents on Wednesday.

Shahroze eased past Mohammad Naeem 11-7, 11-8, 11-10 while Kashif took hardly 20 minutes to dispose of Ashfaq Hussain 11-6, 11-7, 11-10 in the two pre-finals played at the Karachi Club.

Meanwhile, Habiba Khan and Anum Aziz also fought their way into the women’s final after registering emphatic victories. The former handed a 9-0, 9-1, 9-1 defeat to Mehak Shakeel while the latter also had a smooth 9-1, 9-1, 9-2 sailing over Hina Bashir.

The men and women’s finals are slated for Thursday.

Men’s (semi-finals):

Shahroze Khan bt Mohammad Naeem 11-7, 11-8, 11-10; Kashif Khan bt Ashfaq Hussain 11-6, 11-7, 11-10.

Women’s (semi-finals):

Habiba Khan bt Mehak Shakeel 9-0, 9-1, 9-1; Anum Aziz bt Hina Bashir 9-1, 9-1, 9-2.

Thursday’s finals:

Women’s: Habiba Khan v Anum Aziz (3.00pm).

Men’s: Shahroze Khan v Kashif Khan (4.00pm).
