KASUR, June 24: Fifteen people were injured when the bus they were travelling in hit a roadside tree while overtaking a donkey cart near a Water and Power Development Authority office on Sunday.

The Changa Manga-to-Chunian bus tried to over take a donkey cart but because of its reckless speed went out of control and hit the tree.

Fifteen passengers were wounded and admitted to the Kasur District Headquarters Hospital.

Later, three of them — Muhammad Yaseen, Niamat Ali and Sajida — were referred to the Jinnah Hospital in Lahore due to their life-threatening injuries. Police were investigating.
