MIRPURKHAS: Body of ASI found

MIRPURKHAS June 24: The decomposed body of an ASI of Tando Allahyar police was found in the Jamrao Canal near Bacho Khaskheli village in Mirwah Gorchani area on Sunday.

Police fished out the body of ASI Ghulam Rasool Mari on information given by villagers.

In-charge Mirwah Gorchani police post, Atta Mohammad Leghari, said that the ASI had been missing for a week from Tando Allahyar and his relatives were trying to trace him.

The deceased was reportedly a narcotic addict, he added.

No case was lodged till the filing of this report.

In another incident, a boy Yar Mohammad Nohani 13, drowned in a watercourse in Haji Fateh Khan Nohani village.
