MANSEHRA, June 14: A heavy rainfall on Thursday evening brought a pleasant change to the weather of Mansehra and Balakot.

The downpour, which started at the evening and continued for over an hour, brought down the temperature in the district which was keeping at 42 degrees Celsius for a couple of days.

ACCIDENT: Two persons were killed in a road accident in Balakot on Wednesday, police said.

They said a jeep was on its way to Batangi from Balakot. The driver lost the control on the vehicle while negotiating a sharp turn. As a result the vehicle fell into a deep ravine.

Malik Aman and Ghulam died on the spot. Locals retrieved the bodies, which were later handed over to their relatives.
