CHITTAGONG, June 14: The average price of Bangladesh teas fell 5.95 per cent to 86.24 taka ($1.25) per kg on higher demands at a delayed weekly auction on Thursday, brokers said.

“Over 1.09 million kg were sold at an average price of 86.24 taka per kg, down 5.46 taka from the previous sale. The withdrawal percentage was 16.59,” said a statement by National Brokers Limited.
