Six die of heat

LAHORE, June 13: Six people, including four women, died of heat in the city on Wednesday, hospital and police officials said. Mrs Shahid, 55, of Montgomery Park, died in Shahdara while 60-year-old Jamila in Shadbagh, Shahnaz in Mughalpura and an unidentified woman, around 60, in Shadman.

Boota, a resident of Latif Chowk in Shahdara, and an unidentified old man fell unconscious in the Ravi Road area owing to hot weather and died later.
